What Is Inspected?
The scope of the inspection and report is a limited visual inspection of the general systems and components of the home to identify any system or component listed in the report which may be in need of immediate major repair. The inspection will be performed in compliance with generally accepted standards of practice, a copy of which is available upon request.
At Superior Structural Inspections, our residential inspections include the following (when accessible),

- Driveways, sidewalks, retaining walls, patios/patio covers, decks/porches, fences & gates
- Exterior Components:
- Stairs, walls, trim, chimneys, hose faucets, sprinklers, gutters & downspouts
- Foundation:
- Grading, crawlspace, basement
- Roof:
- Roof coverings & penetrations, exposed flashings
- Plumbing:
- Main line, supply lines, waste lines, fuel system, water, heaters
- Heating & Air Conditioning:
- Condition, venting, combustion air, burners, distribution, controls, air filters, cooler & air
- Electrical:
- Service, main panel, conductors, sub-panels
- Interior Components:
- Doors (entry, interior, and exterior), windows, walls, ceilings, floors, fireplaces, stairs, smoke detectors, laundry, attic, ventilation
- Garage:
- Floor, firewall/ceiling, ventilation, doors (to interior, exterior, vehicle), automatic openers, electrical
- Kitchen:
- Sinks, disposals, counters, floors, lights, appliances
- Bathrooms:
- Toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, counters, ventilation
- Pool/Spa:
- Heater, water filter, pumps, blowers, electrical, general surroundings
